Introduction
Well, here we go. My very first attempt at blogging. Welcome to The Fishing Adventures of A R Howorth. If you haven't worked it out by now, I'm A R Howorth ( Anthony Rhys in-case you were wondering what the A R stood for). I won't bore you just yet with a detailed account of how and why I love fishing or how I even started out, as I'm sure that will unfold in due course, for now I would just like to invite you to follow the journey of a fishing mad 20 something, as I aim to bring you all the trials and tribulations of my weekly fishing adventures. The bug bites again
As this is a fishing blog, the majority of you who will be following me will no doubt be anglers yourselves, and will understand what I mean when I refer to that 'fishing bug'. We all love angling, but there are times when the only thing on our minds is fishing. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, fishing. Whether its planning our next fishing trip, reading fishing articles online, watching videos or TV programmes or simply sorting through our fishing tackle, even though we know exactly what is there because we've done it countless times before, we just want to be around fishing. The feeling does subside eventually, Real life will take over and your mind will soon be onto other things. Don't get me wrong, the urge to go fishing is still there, but it has now been pushed to the back of our minds by more pressing matters.
But it only takes a small reminder, a quick browse on your favourite fishing website, or even some nice weather maybe, and that bug 'Bites' again and alas, we are 'hooked' once more.
Well this blog is the result of my latest 'bite'. All the symptoms I have described above are there, so I thought "everything else in my life is currently revolving around fishing, so why not write about fishing".
Who knows, maybe this blog will give you your latest "Bite" from that much loved bug.
Tight lines,
A R Howorth
